All roads lead to Rome …..or Atlanta if you’re flying Delta

Hello to all. We are 24 hours out from takeoff and hanging out in Kennesaw GA having had a nice drive through the fall colors from E. TN. I learned on my second overseas trip 4 years back that when flying international on Delta it is significantly cheaper to drive to Atlanta, spend the night and park the car than it was to fly from TRI (my home airport).

We are firmly ensconced in the Sky Club chilling till it’s time to board.

Sky Clubs midweek are still pretty nice. Not overcrowded. Monday Friday and the weekend is another story. Biggest challenge for me at the moment is to stay awake until after dinner service to try and beat jet lag. More to come then zzzzz
